Goyas 2013 en Café para dos

Sabemos que todos os sabéis de memoria cuáles fueron los mejores y los peores vestidos en la noche de los Goya, porque anoche estaban Twitter que echaba chispas, pero siempre queda algún despistado.... y en Café no hemos podido resistir la tentación de comentar entre nosotras la alfombra roja de los premios más importantes del cine español. Como hacíamos antaño, las dos rodeando el televisor, espectantes, aunque esta vez tuvo que ser online, pero la verdad es que coincidimos casi totalmente en nuestros favoritos, que ahora queremos compartir con vosotros.

Tampoco hemos querido olvidar a los más elegante entre los chicos. Nos encanta que el sector masculino elija esmoquin para la ocasión y no es de extrañar, lo lucen de maravilla.

Teresa Helbig, again

Just stopped to say hi, since this is the craziest month ever and I'm way too busy... And also because I just saw this picture of this dress by Teresa Helbig from the Marie Claire magazine this month at Teresa Helbig's facebook, and I can't help dreaming of an event where I could wear it... I was never such a romantic or a big fan of green colour, but in this piece both are not only "forgivable" but simply to-die-for. Next thing to do: get tickets for her next show at the MBFWM in february.

Sólo pasaba para decir hola, ya que estoy teniendo un enero increíblemente liado... Bueno y porque acabo de ver esta foto de este vestido de Teresa Helbig en su facebook, publicada en el Marie Claire de este mes, y no he podido evitar desear tener un evento para poder llevar ese vestido... Nunca he sido amante de los vestidos muy románticos ni del color verde, pero en esta pieza no sólo son "perdonables" sino que lo hacen irresistible. Próxima tarea: asegurarme la entrada a su desfile en la próxima MBFWM de febrero.

OUTFIT•31 Tartan Details

'¿Veis ese maravilloso sol que se pone lentamente entre los árboles, cálido, luminoso…? Pues bien, de todo eso ya no queda nada!!! Un manto blanco nos ha envuelto completamente, no se distinguen ni lo que es carretera de lo que es acera.

Ahora mismo nos encontramos entorno a 8 grados bajo cero y se ha llevado 48 horas nevando sin parar (y no exagero)

La cuestión es que debido a una serie de atrasos en los posts, se me han acumulado algunos desde antes de Navidad que no quiero dejar de enseñaros, además de ver resquicios de ese largo otoño que hemos tenido aquí en Múnich y nos ha dejado imágenes como éstas.'

Han sido muchas las bloggers (internacionales y no tan internacionales) que nos han estado recordando estos últimos meses la belleza del tartán, y sin abusar de ello como han hecho (y es marca de) Burberry u otros diseñadores, sino que en pequeñas dosis (pantalones) o en detalles como bufandas y otros accesorios. Puede que se convierta en algo más que un detalle blogeril (más visto en las chicas del norte, véase After DKR o The Northen Light) y que pronto se extenderá masivamente, aunque esperemos que no alcance cada esquina de las tiendas el inverno que viene, pero ojo! Algo así os contamos hace un año sobre el terciopelo y… efectivamente, sucedió. Pero bueno, no pasa nada, lo importante, como siempre, es que cada uno sepa adaptarlo a su estilo propio para así ser original y se quede en algo personal. Por suerte, mi hermano me regaló esta bufanda de Fred Perry hace cosa de dos inviernos (o eran tres?) y la uso siempre para dar un toque de color. No suelo usar mucho el rojo a la hora de vestir (solo tengo estos pantalones) pero reconozco que hacen de los looks invernales y oscuros, algo un poco más brillante y alegre. El tartán existe en infinidad de colores y estampados, así que hay una gran variedad entre la que escoger. Y nunca es mal momento para dar a nuestro estilo ese toque inglés…

I actually have a tendency to monochrome-basic colours in the winter, except some days... Tomorrow, for example, I'd totally wear these colours. Make the base black and add purple, pink and green. Why not?

Tengo tendencia a los looks monocromáticos en colores básicos en invierno, salvo excepciones... Sin embargo, mañana mismo, por ejemplo, me encantaría llevar estos colores. Hazte una base en negro y añade morado, rosa y verde. ¿Por qué no?

Latest obsession: embellished jackets

Si el invierno pasado eran las pieles, claramente este invierno esto va de bordados con pedrería, perlas, tachuelas... No importa lo mucho que se lleven ahora, lo cierto es que una chaqueta "joya" es un básico para nuestro armario, que siempre hemos podido usar para bodas y sobre vestidos de fiesta. Pero no podría gustarme más cómo estas chaquetas se ven ahora por la calle con unos simples vaqueros. ¿Mis favoritas? La primera y la tercera, supongo. Me gusta cómo la primera marca los hombros y refuerza esto con el aplique, y de la tercera me encanta el estampado... 

If last winter it was fur, clearly this one it's all about embellishments with beads, pearls, studs... But no matter how "in" it is right now, the truth is that an embellished jacket is a basic garment in our wardrobes, which we have always used for weddings or in other occasions over our night dresses. Couldn't love more how these jackets are seen now in the streets paired with jeans and any simple outfit. My favourite one? First and third, I guess. Love the way the first one makes the emphasis on the shoulder and the print of the third one...

A day with...

Good morning to everyone. Today is a lazy day, yep, as all Mondays, at least for me. So not to start the week with more hard work I just want to share with you to videos that I had in mine since a long time. Both of them belong to two different people who are working in the fashion industry and the blogger world. The first one is called Jessie... 'Jessie Weiss became Germany's fashion blog darling when she started Les Mads. After a stint at Interview Magazine she's now back in the blog world with her new project Journelles. Jessie shows us what she loves about Berlin and goes to our showroom to style a look for her blog.' In the same way, Sabrina Meijer from after DRK (most all you probably know her) shares with us in the second video how is a normal day in his life. It quite interesting to see how normal background is behind these well-known people. Also what I like from them is the peace and the good vibrations they manage to transmit, this quite and relaxing environment they surround their life with. Socks, no socks

¿Me preguntaba yo qué os parece llevar calcetas en lugar de medias a veces? No lo hago a menudo por el frío, pero a veces queda muy bien... Algunos ejemplos arriba, el mío propio, abajo. Me gusta crear el contraste entre unos zapatos y una falda muy femeninos y una camisa y un abrigo más bien masculinos. ¿Es vuestro estilo o mejor unas medias calentitas?

I was wondering... Do you ever wear over-the-knee socks instead of tights? I don't do it often mostly because of the cold temperatures, but I think it can be simply so cute in some outfits... Some examples above, my own one below. I like to pair some feminine skirt and shoes with a masculine shirt and coat... What about you?

A good wrap. *Inspiration*

Sinceramente, no creo que pudiera soportar estos largos inviernos si no fuera por mi familia, la Navidad, los paisajes nevados y los días junto a la chimenea... Pero también tengo que admitir que hay algo en ponerme capas y capas de ropa de invierno que también me gusta. La riqueza de tejidos, el tacto del cashmere, la lana, el toque cool del cuero... Hay algo en todo ello que de hecho, me encanta.

Honestly, I think I wouldn't stand these long winters if it wasn't for my family, Christmas, snowy landscapes and cozy warm days near a chimney... But I also have to admit there's something in wearing layers and layers of winter clothes that I like. The richness of fabrics, the touch of cashmere, wool, the coolness of leather... There's some charm in all this that I actually love, too. The charm of a good wrap!

Pero tras estos pensamientos también me vienen aquellos por los que no tienen chimenea, ni calefacción, ni ropa de abrigo, ni techo. Nunca debemos olvidarles, ni tampoco debemos dejarles sin ayuda. Zara vs. Mango

Today I won't tell you anything special, but I will ask you for some advice... You might be able to help me! Ever since last winter I've been looking for this kind of everyday/anytime booties, comfortable and classy enough, in the same style as Anne-Charlotte showed in some great outfits (here). I bought these two pairs, from Zara and Mango, and I'm trying to decide which ones to keep, since both seem to be great even if different. Any of you has any of those pairs? Any piece of advice? What shoes do you normally prefer, those from Zara or Mango?

Hoy no os voy a contar nada especial, pero sí os voy a pedir consejo, ¡a ver si me podéis ayudar! Desde el invierno pasado he estado buscando este tipo de botines para todo, cómodos y suficientemente "arreglados", del mismo estilo que enseñó Anne-Charlotte en algunos de sus "look of the day" (aquí). Me he comprado estos dos pares para probarlos en casa, de Zara y Mango respectivamente, y estoy intentando decidir con cuáles quedarme, ya que ambos parecen buena opción. Alguna de vosotras tiene alguno de estos pares? ¿Tenéis algún consejo? Normalmente de dónde preferís los zapatos, ¿de Zara o Mango?
