THE TRUTH IS...

that I was thinking in calling this post again 'How to rock... an old (style) flowery skirt' but not to abuse to much the concept I decided not to do it. But keep that in mind haha. 

Actually, this skirt have been in my wardrobe during ages, without any opportunity. But suddenly, I started to have this kind of need of one of this colorful plain sweaters or jumpers. 

It was during sales when I visualized the bright pink colour, calling me since the end of the corridor of mountains made out of clothes (in ZARA) Then I realized how beautiful this skirt should be with the jumper. I love the cut out in the back. As i am wearing it without anything else, it becomes pretty sexy to be just a jersey ( jumper, jersey, sweater... seriously, I don't know how to call it, but you understand me... ^^)

THE SECOND TRUTH IS...

that I really think that this pictures are one of my favourites since I started with the blog. I am very sad though: i dont't now how to get rid of this noise!!! I now it was getting dark and probably this is one of the main reasons. Please, I hate to be so amateur when I see that the result of my photos could be better, I would kindly accept any suggestion

THE THIRD TRUTH IS...

that once upon a time... pink was one of my favourites colours. It became something obsessive! and there were times when I was wearing pink shirt+pink trousers+ pink shoes... (a potential petit suisse)

 I guess it is something that a blogger should't confess, but it was my style, is part of myself, and maybe, without this, I wouldn't be who I am now. Actually, I think this pink colour gives to my dark skin and dark hair, more light and it is pretty cool!

Inspiration

Me veo obligada en esta tarde de domingo a hacer un post rápido. Esta imágen me ha cautivado y me ha inspirado para estos días. Sobretodo desde que ayer, en H&M (inspirados en unos PRADA), vi esos pendientes y estuve delante de ellos un buen rato. Ahora, he pasado a la fase de NECESITARLOS. Por lo demás tan simple como un vestido de flores ajustado, uñas color rosa palo, raya gruesa de los ojos. Y un peinado de otro siglo. Me encanta y espero que os guste.

Flowers and paper bags

En Cafe au deux nos encanta una idea sencilla bien ejecutada...  ¿Un ejemplo? Ahora que llega la primavera y todo se llena de flores... ¿Por qué no poner unas cuantas en casa... En una bolsa de papel? Así lo hace la modelo Clara Alonso, tal como nos mostraba ayer en su blog, y queda muy original (quizá también será porque son bolsas de Chanel que nos gusta tanto...)

At Cafe au deux, we love a good simple idea... Any example? Now that Spring's coming and everything gets full of flowers... Why not putting some at home... In paper bags? That's the way our top model Clara Alonso does it at home, as she was showing us yesterday at her blog, and we think it looks very original! (We also love the fact that they're all Chanel bags...)

Blue Velvet

Buenos días, puede que la entrada de hoy os ponga los pelos de punta (del fríoo) pero lo cierto es que creo y toco madera, será una de las últimas imágenes que tendré de este año rodeada de intensa nieve que lo mismo podría estar en Narnia, pero no. Las fotos las hicimos en los jardines de la Residenz, un antiguo palacio del siglo XIV que es el palacio urbano más importante de toda Alemania y convertido hoy en un museo que realmente merece la pena visitar si venís a Múnich. 
Me gustaría concentrarme hoy en mi chaqueta de TERCIOPELO. Creo que es una de las apuestas fuertes para el próximo otoño/invierno. De hecho, lo corroboré en las pasarelas de Nueva York, así que no solo lo que queda de este invierno, sino que el próximo, también dará mucho juego. Quizás sea el momento ahora de ponerse terciopelo antes de que se convierta en nuestro terrible y temible must-have (y todo el mundo lo llamará velvel aunque en español sea terciopelo) que tendremos hasta en la sopa (?) No lo sé, por si sí o por si no, lo disfrutaré ahora. La camisa de flores la conoceis, es de ZARA, y ha sido una de mis pocas adquisiciones en rebajas. Aunque no me gusta comprarme algo tan llamativo y que sé que tiene todo el mundo, lo cierto es que su buena calidad y su colorido ( y su buen precio) la hicieron más que irresistible, y al final me quedé con ella. Las botas de lluvia, las compré en una zapatería de Sevilla. Iba a comprarme unas HUNTER pero era un constante goteo de gente hablando de la marca y terminé por buscar otra cosa un poco más difernte, y ví estas botas que imitan a las botas de montar de piel, con costuras incluidas, y que ya había visto a algunas chicas en Sevilla. La cartera ya la conoceis, es de piel, y de segunda o tercera mano... quien sabe!

Bueno, mi cara ya la podéis entender... hacía un frío de muerte!!!

FLOWER BOMB

Con este estilismo del lookbook de ZARA para la próxima temporada, os dejo una serie de imágenes, dibujos, cuadros, fotos... una mezcla de todo que me inspira para estos meses que vienen. (También podeis ver la entrada que hice para THE LEMON PEAR, hablando de Lana del Rey, que suele rodearse de flores en sus apariciones, y ésto no pasó desapercibido ante mis ojos...) Está claro que ya nos han saturado suficiente con los colores pastel, y aunque me parecen fabulosos, quizás si los combinamos con estampados florales o los llevamos directamente inmersos dentro de los estampados, podamos dar un giro de tuerca más a 'lo de siempre'. Quizás os resulte un poco raro, pero no siempre lo que me inspira a la hora de vestirme es ver cómo se viste otra gente, muchas veces una imágen aleatoria puede sugerirme mucho más. Saludos.

It had been a long time since I don't translate my posts, and I want to apologize about that. But not always is easy for me and sometimes my english is not good enough... anyway! I will try...

This time, and with this look from ZARA website, I show you a collection of inspiring images for the next season. I think that we are saturated enough with pastel colors and we haven't had time for wearing them, though. But maybe, if we put them together into different flower patterns, they get even more beauty, and we can escape from the rutine looks. Hope it will inspire you so much as it does to me. Beautiful ideas for beautiful... Flower vases

Os acordais de aquella vez, hace ya bastante tiempo, que os proponía ideas diferentes para decorar con velas, con latas, cajas, encajes... AQUI Pues ahora he encontrado todas estas imágenes para hacer 'jarrones' con cualquier cosa que encontreis por la casa. Aprovecho la vuelta, y disculparme a la vez después del parón considerable (el trabajo me absorbe, lo confieso) para enseñaros estas ideas, espero que os inspiren tanto como a mi. Que siempre invento cualquier cosa para no tener en casa un jarrón convencional. Un vaso, una botella, una lechera... y hasta una bombilla! Cualquier cosa vale. Aunque seguro que se os ocurre alguna más...
