The Little (minimal) Red Dress

The little red dress is, to me, as important for a wardrobe as the LBD (little black dress) and the LWD (little white dress). The ideal one for me? Short, even very short, but not too tight and with a high neckline. Just check the first 2 pics. You can wear it for any shopping morning with flats, or use a pair of high heeled booties to take it to a party. To me, the very best option is to keep it simple. Red is such a strong colour that it needs nothing else, ant its much more sexy like that.

El "little red dress" es, para mí, tan importante para un armario como el LBD(little black dress) o el LWD (little white dress). El ideal para mí? Corto, incluso bastante corto, pero no muy ajustado y sin apenas escote. Mira las dos primeras fotos. Puedes llevarlo de plano para una mañana de compras o subirte a unos botines con tacones para ir a una fiesta. Para mí, lo mejor es llevarlo de la forma más simple posible. El rojo es un color tan fuerte que no necesita nada más, es mucho más sexy así.

Same rules, different design. The belt can break a bit the simpleness of the outfit.

"Bend" your pants! Enrolla tus pantalones!

Boyfriend pants are in, but the best way to make them look more feminine is to show your ankles and, of course, a good pair of feminine flats or pumps. Just give a couple of turns to your pants and they'll have a different look. But I'll tell you a secret. It also works with straight pants. If you have some old pants that still fit you but they're not skinny nor wide, give the legs a couple of turns till your ankles can be seen. It gives them a new look, you dont have to sew them and you dont have to throw them to trush..  Here you have some stylish combinations to get inspired ;)

Se llevan los "boyfriend pants", pero la mejor manera de hacerlos más femeninos es enseñar tus tobillos y, por supuesto, un buen par de femeninas bailarinas o unos tacones. Dale un par de vueltas a las patas del pantalón y tendrán un aire diferente. Pero te diré un secreto ;)  También funciona con los pantalones rectos. Si tienes pantalones antiguos que te siguen quedando bien, pero no son ni pitillo ni de pata ancha, dale un par de vueltas a los bajos hasta que queden tobilleros. Les da un nuevo aire, no los tienes que coser ni tampoco tirarlos a la basura. Aquí tienes algunas combinaciones estilosas para que te inspires ;)

I'd love to have some of this swimwear...  It's not easy to find exclusive swimsuits and bikinis for an afordable price, is it? Each summer, i have to go search in ALL shops for a cool swimsuit with not much success and, in fact, if someone asked me where to look for cool ones, I wouldn't know what to say... Do you have any favourite shops or you have the same problem as me?

Me encantaría tener alguno de estos trajes de baño... No es fácil encontrar bañadores y biknis exclusivos por un precio asequible, verdad? Cada verano me recorro TODAS las tiendas buscando un bañador chulo y no tengo mucho éxito y, de hecho, si alguien me preguntara dónde buscar bañadores, no sabría qué decir... Vosotras tenéis alguna tienda favorita o tenéis el mismo problema que yo?

Hoss Intropia silver line (and its wonderful prints and fabrics)

I have to say I don't usually wear printed stuff. I'm trying to wear more and more, but I will always have this tendency to rather colour block style... Anyhow, brands like this make me fall in love with prints. Specially in those printed minidresses or silk pants combined with blazers and heels. What about the delicate semi-transparent tops with sequins and the cardigan with elephants? I tried to make a selection from the whole catalogue but I couldn't make it shorter than this, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and, who knows, maybe in some sales or outlet we could even be able to get one of those great pieces...

J'adore... Dior? No! ...Chloè!

Un repaso a algunas de las campañas de Chloè, para mostraros una de las firmas que más me gustan. La frescura y sencillez de las prendas, y la manera de combinarlas entre si, junto con las medias melenas doradas hacen un mix que me evoca directamente los años setenta, y para un espíritu retro como el mío... Get the inspiration!

Ojo a la siguente escena: la combinación del verde con el rojo y estampados. Quien dijo tacones blancos no?!?! El donde, el cuando y sobretodo: el qué y el cómo hacen el resto

  Las bailarinas con las tres pulseritas son, han sido y siempre serán un verdadero musthave... me haré algun día con alguna versión de ellas!?

El clásico camel y vaquero llevados a la perfección absoluta... volverán éste proximo invierno!? Esperemos que sí. Al igual que esas camisas de aspecto romántico de mangas desencajadas y hombros infinitos... esperemos que también.

Y por último, nada que decir sobre esa falda de patchwork, llamémosle asi, solo que la quiero. Puede que sea la excusa perfecta para nuestro primer DIY?? Quien sabe...

Hoy es un día súper especial... Es el cumpleaños de Anne-Charlotte! Por si alguien no se había dado cuenta, este blog es de dos personas.. De dos grandes amigas... Y es el cumpleaños de una de ellas! 

Today's a very special day... It's Anne-Charlotte's bday! Just in case someone didn't realise, this blog is made by two people... By two great friends... And it's the birthday of one of them! 

Ésta de abajo debería ser yo, recién llegada a Sevilla ahora mismo, con todos tus regalos.... 

Me habría encantado estar de paseo descubriendo alguna nueva ciudad juntas, como cuando estuvimos en Amberes...

O podríamos estar celebrándolo por todo lo alto en París!!

O si lo prefires, con una fiesta en una mansión en el campo ;)

O navegando por las aguas de Formentera e Ibiza como aquel verano...

La celebración de tu cumpleaños puede haber sido aplazada al 24 de junio por circunstancias especiales, pero hoy sigue siendo tu día y espero que lo hayas disfrutado todo lo posible. Si bien hoy me he visto obligada a faltar, te aseguro que el 24 no te fallo.

Y sólo por si te quedaba alguna duda, que sepas que aún nos quedan muchísimas cosas por disfrutar juntas y, aunque suene típico, no pienso dejar que nada ni nadie nos lo impida.
