The summer Bag

I am so happy to be back in Cafe au Deux after so much time of absence. Due to work and personal reasons it had been completely impossible to continue writing in this blog. So I was focusing more in my other blog, the digital magazine The Lemon Pear, a blog that you all have to visit, with many different and interesting contents going on.

 After giving a speech in the first blogger event that took part in Cádiz, I received a very warm welcome and encouragement to continue with this personal blog that today I recover once more. To start with, I want to share with you my summer bag. From BOLICHE collection, a handmade brand based in Cádiz. They have many and unique designs not only for bags, they are specialized in accesories and little by little trying to introduce clothing and shoes. Do not miss the opportunity to visit their web site and shop online www.boliche.es . I had the opportunity to speak with one of the designers and there is a lot of good work behind these creations. Combined with this pair of old jeans that I was wearing in a baggy style. Sandals are from H&M... I know, they are green, but I think summer is a good excuse to wear colorful shoes. The shirt is from ZARA this season, with an interesting open back.

OUTFIT·22 SUMMERTIME

MI PROPIA CAMPAÑA DE VERANO

Hace cosa de un año, decidimos por fín llevar a cabo algo que se había estado gestando por mucho tiempo. La verdad es que tenía en la mente fundar un blog o publicar mis cosas, mis fotos, mis pensamientos desde el 2008. Pero no conseguía lo que quería, y abandonaba. Así hasta el 2011 que por fín y con el empujón de AIAM, juntas, lo conseguimos. Y muchas veces, hacía proyectos para los que ponía mucho empeño y luego no se veían a la luz. Y aunque éste no es uno de esos casos, sino que fué más bien, fruto de la casualidad de una noche de verano, en agosto del 2011, cuando aún no publicábamos nuestras propias fotos en el blog, yo me hice estas fotos. Ahora las he encontrado y me gustaría compartirla con vosotros.

Aunque ya llegó la primavera aquí y es más soleada de lo que jamás pude imaginar, ver estas imágentes me translada a la calidez de España, del verano que... no sé si volveré a tener por cuestiones de trabajo, a los bodys con toda la espalda al aire, a los bolsos transparentes, las ondas en el pelo, las sandalias verdes, la tez morena, los blazers blancos......

I've just added an orange blazer de Romwe for a bit of colour... But if you like this look, I'm sure you'll find so many jackets/sweaters that can complete it, since it's a basic that admits many different options (I think that's why I like it so much!). About the bag... Well, Chanel isn't really affordable, is it? But you can find "copies" everywhere, for example in Blanco this season, they've released some very nice versions of it!

Tan sólo he añadido un blazer naranja de Romwe para darle un poco de color... Pero si te gusta este look, encontrarás muchas chaquetas/jerseys que puedan completarlo, ya que es un básico que admite muchas opciones diferentes (creo que por eso me gusta tanto!). Acerca del bolso... Bueno, Chanel no es muy asequible, verdad? Pero podéis encontrar copias en todas partes, por ejemplo Blanco ha sacado unas versiones muy monas este invierno!

AIAM - "outfit post #0"

Well... Here it is... My first "outfit post". It's a bit different to "normal" outfit posts, but I hope you'll enjoy it enough anyway ;) The top is the one I mentioned a few posts ago (falling for collar blouses). I said I'd show it to you... So here you have some pics! The shorts were bought at the same time and I think they perfectly match together, without needing much more.

Bueno.. Aquí está... Mi primer "outfit post". Es algo distinto a los outfit posts normales, pero espero que os guste de todos modos. El top es el que mencioné hace algunos posts (falling for collar blouses). Dije que os lo enseñaría... Así que aquí os dejo unas fotos! El short lo compré a la vez y me parece que quedan muy bien juntos, sin necesitar mucho más.

The best thing of the top is that the collar is attached to it by buttons, so I can wear the top without it for any daytime plan. It's one of those clothes that put together beauty and functionality, and when I find something like that I usually decide it's worth the investment (though I wait for sales if I can, of course). What kind of clothes do you try to find in sales? You make lists of what you have to buy or you simply go and see if there's smth nice for half its price?

Lo mejor del top es que el cuello está unido con botones, así que puedo ponerme el top sin él para un look de diario. Es una de esas prendas que aúnan belleza y funcionalidad,  y cuando encuentro algo así normalmente me decido a hacer una inversión (aunque si puedo, espero a rebajas claro). ¿Qué tipo de ropa buscáis en rebajas? ¿Hacéis listas con las cosas que tenéis que comprar o simplemente vais a ver si hay algo bonito al 50%?

Bueno, aquí está la segunda publicación de un look propio. He pasado unos días maravillosos en Ronda en compañía de mi amor (aunque suena un poco cursi dicho en español ^^). Han sido unos días estupendos, aunque debido a una indigestión tengo un poco de mala cara... pero no pensaba desaprovechar ni un segundo, así que me recompuse pronto!El hotel en el que nos hemos alojado es un pequeño hotelito de 3 estrellas que ha surgido de la reforma de una típica casa de la Serranía Rondeña. Podeís encontrar más información visitando la web del hotel Enfrente Arte. Incluye el desayuno tipo Continental, y en el hotel hay una pequeña y coqueta piscina para mitigar el sofocante calor, un jacuzzi, y una sauna(aunque ésto mejor en invierno) y una pecera para meter los pies y disfrutar de tratamiento de pececillos tipo garra rufa. Sin duda es el hotel más peculiar en el que he estado, la decoración es orginal de artistas y utiliza materiales reciclados: lo mismo un sillón es la parte trasera de un antiguo coche,que una mesa es una rueda, o una maceta es un balón... y muchas cosas más!


Well, here is the second time that I show you an outfit where I am the model. This time I have being spending really good days in Ronda (Málaga, Spain) with my love. It had been really lovely days for me althoug I was sick because of an indigestion so... sorry for my bad face :( Anyway, we were very lucky to find such a interesting hotel like Enfrente Arte, with a lot of special offers included: Continental Breakfast, a little swimming-pool, jacuzzi, sauna, 'garra rufa' fish and the most special, different and original decorated hotel that I have ever been.
